Thai (ไทย) → English

Translate Thai PDFs & documents to English
scanned or digital — without breaking the layout

Thai documents get translated to English constantly: marriage and divorce certificates for foreign spouses' visa files, house registration documents for retirement and property matters, and company affidavits for anyone doing business in Thailand. Most exist only as photocopies or phone photos of amphur-issued forms. Reglyph reads the Thai with OCR + AI, lifts it off the page image, and sets the English translation into the same form fields, so the garuda emblem, seals, and form structure survive.

No spaces between words — the hard part of Thai OCR

Thai script runs without spaces between words, and vowels and tone marks attach above, below, before, and after consonants — so OCR has to both recognize the characters and segment them into words before translation can even start. Get segmentation wrong and the meaning shifts. English also takes more horizontal room than compact Thai script, so translations tend to overflow form boxes. Reglyph handles the segmentation and refits the English into the original fields, keeping the government form recognizable as the same document.

How to translate a scanned Thai document

1
Upload your PDF

Drop in a scanned Thai PDF, a digital PDF, or a photo of the page. Image-only files are fine — no text layer needed.

2
We read & translate

OCR extracts the Thai text, then it's translated to English while the original text is erased from the page.

3
Download, layout intact

Get a clean PDF where tables, figures, stamps, and numbers sit exactly where they were.

Thai → English — frequently asked

Can I translate a Thai marriage certificate to English for a UK or US visa?

Yes — upload the scan and Reglyph produces an English version on the same form layout, with the seal and registration numbers where the officer expects to find them. Visa authorities generally require the translation to be certified by a translator, so use Reglyph to get an accurate, correctly formatted draft and have a professional certify it. That two-step approach is usually much cheaper than full human translation from scratch.

Does Thai OCR actually work, given there are no spaces between words?

Word segmentation is the classic failure point of Thai OCR, and it's exactly what Reglyph's OCR + AI pipeline is built to handle — on clear printed documents the segmentation and translation are solid. Quality drops with blurry photos or faxed copies, so rescan at higher resolution if something looks off. Handwritten Thai, such as filled-in blanks on older forms, remains unreliable.

Can I get the Thai and English side by side in one PDF?

Yes — Reglyph offers a bilingual export that puts the original Thai page and the translated English page next to each other. That format is popular for tabien baan and company documents, because lawyers and officers can verify any line against the source instantly. The first 5 pages are free with no credit card, so you can check the output before paying.
