An Arabic scan has to be turned around, not just translated: the text runs right-to-left and the English that replaces it runs left-to-right.
Reglyph reads the Arabic off the page image, removes it, and sets the English back into the same blocks running the other way — so a certificate's stamp, its border and its signature line stay where they were while the text direction flips. Arabic letters join, and change shape depending on where they sit in a word, which is why an Arabic page is read from the image rather than assembled letter by letter.

Can I scan an Arabic document and translate it to English?
Yes. Photograph or scan the page, save it as a PDF, and upload it — no separate OCR pass is needed. Both iPhone (Files) and Android (Google Drive) have a built-in document scanner that outputs PDF and straightens the page for you.
How is the right-to-left direction handled?
The Arabic is read in its own right-to-left order and the English is laid back out left-to-right, so the finished page reads normally rather than being mirrored. Text alignment flips with it: a block set flush right in Arabic comes back flush left in English, while its position on the page is unchanged.
Do the stamps, borders and Arabic-Indic numerals stay intact?
Stamps, seals, decorative borders and signatures are part of the scanned image and are left untouched. Numbers are preserved exactly as they appear, whether the document uses Arabic-Indic digits (٠-٩) or Western ones — which matters on ID numbers, amounts and dates, where a transcription slip is worse than an awkward translation.
